Job Title: Cooling System Engineer
Salary Range: £45,000-£54,000 (depending on experience)

The Engine Systems Team within the Building Construction Products Division is seeking a Cooling System Engineer. This role involves designing cooling systems for various machine platforms including Back Hoe Loaders (BHL), Compact Wheel Loaders (CWL) and Telehandlers (TH). Responsibilities include defining system requirements, utilizing analytical tools for system design and collaborating with suppliers to evaluate cooling system components. The role also encompasses overseeing system validation activities such as test planning and data analysis to ensure compliance with performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define cooling system requirements in collaboration with other machine systems.
- Develop cooling system installations, including fan selection and shroud design.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to optimize performance and cost-efficiency.
- Manage all aspects of cooling system validation, from analysis to test result evaluation.
- Address and resolve technical issues during development and on customer sites.
Basic Qualifications:
Successful candidates should possess:
- Analytical thinking skills to diagnose complex technical issues and propose effective solutions.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design & Engineering for designing, analyzing, simulating and testing product designs.
- Experience in product design and development, especially within construction equipment.
- Project management capabilities, including multitasking, prioritization and international team collaboration across time zones.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in managing cooling system design through the entire product lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Back Hoe Loaders, Compact Wheel Loaders and Telehandlers.
- Knowledge of engines and engine installation design.
